Chili And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 pkg. French's Chili-O mix
    1/2 c. water
    1 large onion
    1 can crushed tomatoes
    1 can pinto beans (undrained)
Preparation
    Crumble ground chuck in 2-quart casserole dish.
    Add chopped onions.
    Microwave on High 4 to 6 minutes; stir halfway through cooking.
    Drain.
    Dissolve Chili-O mix in 1/2 cup water.
    Add this along with the tomatoes and beans to the cooked ground chuck and onions.
    Microwave, loosely covered, on High 8 to 10 minutes. Stir halfway through cooking.
    Simmer on 50% power for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
