Spackle Prints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
spackling powder (at paint or hardware stores)
    water
    colored powdered tempra
    collage materials
    wax paper
    plastic meat trays
    egg cartons
Preparation
Mix water and spackling powder to the consistency of whipped cream.
Be sure mixture is free of lumps.
Add colored powdered paint and pour into container.
Spackle may be dropped on waxed paper and then collage materials embedded in it.
Spackle is superior to Plaster of Paris because it dries more slowly, allowing children time to change their minds about designs.
The finished product takes 40 minutes to 1 hour to dry.
