Mediterranean Pilaf(Servings: 8) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. uncooked rice (long grain white rice)
4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. seedless golden raisins
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation

Bring to boil in 1-quart saucepan.
Pour chicken broth into mixture.
Cook covered over low heat 20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
Turmeric and curry powder add brilliant golden color and delicate flavor.
Serving Ideas:
Goes great with beef kabobs, chicken, etc.
