Really Good Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage (4 to 5 c.), finely chopped
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. each: salt and sugar
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cook (or steam) cabbage about 5 minutes until tender, but crisp.
    Blend egg, vinegar, butter, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Cook over low heat, until thick, about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool slightly.
    Add sour cream and pour over cabbage.
    Toss well to coat.
    Serve warm or chilled.
