Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. cream-style corn
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    4 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Mix corn meal, buttermilk, salt, flour, soda, eggs, corn and cooking oil together.
    Pour half of the mixture into a greased pan.
    Pour cheese, onion and peppers in the middle.
    Pour other ingredients over. Make like ordinary corn bread (not too thick). Bake 40 to 45 minutes in a 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 oven.
