Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes
    1 pt. Crisco oil
    3 lb. onions, chopped
    2 medium green peppers, diced
    4 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 1/2 tsp. crushed dried peppers
    1 1/2 c. salt
    1 Tbsp. basil
    2 Tbsp. oregano
Preparation
    Cook garlic powder
    with
    tomatoes.
    Cook
    peppers
    and onions in oil for 20
    minutes to 1/2 hour, until soft.
    Strain tomatoes. Mix onions\tand peppers, plus all other ingredients together. Cook down to
    right
    thickness
    (maybe
    an\thour or longer).
    Put in quart or pint jars and seal.
