Ground Nut Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. finely ground nuts
    1 c. margarine
    1/2 c. scalded milk
    9 Tbsp. granulated sugar
Preparation
    Pour milk over ground nuts and cool.
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar tablespoon at a time.
    Add cooled nut mixture and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or almond flavoring.
    Cut angel food cake in half crosswise.
    Spread lower portion with frosting.
    Replace top layer and frost remainder of cake.
