Hearty Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1 bag frozen sliced carrots
    2 qt. water
    1 onion, chopped
    6 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
    nonstick vegetable spray
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and carrots in water until tender.
    Drain liquid into a bowl and set aside.
    Put vegetables in another bowl and set aside.
    In original pot, saute onion in nonstick spray until soft. Add a little reserved liquid and stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
    Gently stir in vegetables.
    Add reserved liquid until consistency is as desired. Freezes well.
    Very low-fat!
