Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix (reserve 2/3 c.)
    1/2 c. melted oleo
    1 egg
    2/3 c. reserved cake mix
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. white corn syrup
Preparation
    Pour over crust and sprinkle with 1 cup pecans.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until topping is firm.
    When cool, cut into squares.
