Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. pineapple, drained
    3 c. pears, peeled, cored and ground
    1/4 c. maraschino cherries (3 oz.)
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 large orange, peeled and seeded (optional)
    1 pkg. Sure-Jell
    5 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grind pears, orange and cherries all together.
    Cook all ingredients together except sugar until bubbles form over entire surface. Add sugar and boil vigorously 1 minute.
    Pour into glasses or jars immediately.
