Ingredients

1 gal. figs
4 c. sugar (I use 5)
1 c. water
Preparation

Mix sugar and water until dissolved.
Bring to a boil.
Drop figs in, 2 to 3 at a time.
Keep syrup boiling at all times.
After all figs are in, boil 1 minute.
Set off heat.
Next day, boil 20 minutes.
Set aside.
Next day again cook for 20 minutes.
Put into hot jars and seal.
Makes 5 pints.
Delicious.
