Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
3 c. oats

Preparation

Mix and drop by teaspoon on greased sheet.
Makes about 5 dozen.
