Preserve Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. fig preserves
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients; add oil and mix well.
Add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk.
Add preserves, pecans and raisins.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan, not greased, at 325\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Poke holes in cake.
