Cherry-Nut Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. melted butter
2 c. drained, sour pitted cherries (No. 2 can)
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients and stir into them the egg and cherries.
Fold in nuts and turn into greased and wax papered 9-inch layer pan.
Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cut into wedges and serve with whipped cream or ice cream topped with cherry sauce.
