Hot Clam Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams, drain and reserve 1/4 c. liquid
    12 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. butter, softened
Preparation
    Place clams and 1/4 cup clam liquid in a 1-quart covered glass dish.
    Microwave on High 5 minutes.
    Stir cream cheese and butter into clams.
    Cook on High 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
    Stir until smooth. Serve hot with crackers or chips.
    Makes 3 cups.
