Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate (1 oz. each)
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt chocolate and shortening in a small bowl in microwave.
    Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Spread in a greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Bake until brownies pull away from sides of pan, 30 to 35 minutes. Cool slightly and cut into 2 inch squares.
