Steak And Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, cubed
    1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    dash of ginger and allspice
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. sliced onions
    2 1/2 c. hot water
    1/2 tsp. Bovril in hot water (for flavor)
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (if desired)
Preparation
    Roll meat in flour, salt, pepper and all spices.
    Brown the meat; add onions and cook until light.
    Add the potatoes and brown and stir.
    Add hot water and simmer until near tender.
    Turn into casserole.
    Cover with pie crust.
    Brush with beaten egg.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 to 425\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
    Serve with salad and peach cobbler for dessert.
