Angel Food Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. coconut
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    colored sugar (for decoration)
Preparation
    Mix shortening and sugars until creamy; add egg.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Mix in sugar and egg mixture; add coconut and vanilla.
    Roll in small balls (the size of a walnut).
    Dip tops of balls into water, then in colored sugar.
    Press them out on ungreased cookie sheet using fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Do not overcook!
    Remove with egg turner and let cool.
