Chocolate Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. cocoa
    2 1/2 c. scalded milk
    7 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 egg yolks, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine flour, cocoa, sugar and salt, adding milk gradually; cook in double boiler until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Pour small amount of mixture over egg yolks, stirring vigorously. Return to double boiler.
    Add butter and cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly.
    Add vanilla.
    Cool and pour into baked pie shell.
    Top with meringue.
