Aunt Elvira'S Little Hot Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 lb. lard (shortening)
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients thoroughly, then cut in lard.
    Add milk and lemon juice.
    Mix until mixture forms a soft dough.
    Roll out on a well floured board to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Fold in half and roll twice.
    Cut with small biscuit cutter and bake in hot oven.
