Sunday Beef Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 4 lb. chuck roast
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    1 onion, sliced
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 small can sliced mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Season roast with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker. Add onion and mushrooms. Add soup. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or high for 6 hours.
