Ingredients

1 1/2 c. seedless raisins (golden)
water
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 c. quick oats
Preparation

Cover raisins with boiling water.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Drain well.
Beat together butter, peanut butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Resift flour with salt, cinnamon and soda.
Blend into butter mixture.
Mix in oats and raisins.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
Flatten slightly.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, until browned.
Remove to racks to cool.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
