Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Boil raisins in 6 cups water until a cup of juice is left. Add water if 2 cups is not left.
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Bake in large, rectangular pan for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
