Monkey Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (1 Tbsp.) yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. boiling water
    3 c. and 3 Tbsp. flour
    margarine
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add the egg.
    In another bowl, mix the sugar, shortening and boiling water until all the shortening has melted smoothly into the mixture.
    Allow to cool slightly, then add to the yeast mixture.
    Mix all liquids together.
    Fold in flour and salt.
    Stir until thoroughly mixed. Allow to rise until double in size.
