Freezer Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage
1 medium carrot
1 medium green pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation

Shred cabbage, grate carrot and chop green pepper finely.
Add salt to cabbage and allow to stand 1 hour. Drain well.
Add carrot and pepper and mix.
Heat remaining ingredients until sugar dissolves. Cool.
Pour over slaw and freeze in containers.
Makes 12 servings.
