Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. baking powder
5 Tbsp. chicken fat
1 egg
1 hen, cooked
6 boiled eggs
Preparation

Boil hen until tender; debone when cool.
Mix flour, salt, pepper and baking powder.
Add chicken fat, milk and beaten egg. Form dough; roll out and cut into strips.
Drop into boiling broth. Cook dumplings until tender.
Add chicken and sliced, boiled eggs. Serves 6.
