Sweet-Sour Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bulk sausage, rolled into 1 1/2-inch balls
    2 (20 oz.) cans pineapple chunks, drained (reserve 1 c. liquid)
    1 c. lemon juice
    1/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 medium green peppers, cut in pieces
Preparation
    In large skillet, brown meatballs; drain.
    Meanwhile, combine reserved pineapple liquid, lemon, sugar, soy sauce and ginger. Add cornstarch.
    Mix well.
    Pour over meatballs.
    Add green peppers.
    Simmer 20 to 30 minutes, covered.
    Yields 8 dozen.
