Michigan Rocks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 c. cooked raisins
1 jar maraschino cherries, cut up
1 c. grapes, seeded and cut up
1/2 lb. dates, cut up
1 c. crushed black walnuts
1 c. crushed English walnuts
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and beat.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Add fruit and nuts.
Mix and drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
Check cookies to see if they are done.
