Sicilian Quiche - cooking recipe

1 unbaked pie shell
4 oz. grated Mozzarella cheese
2 c. peeled tomatoes
1/4 lb. sliced salami, cut in strips
1 medium onion, minced
1 medium green pepper, diced
3 eggs
3/4 c. milk
2 tsp. onion powder
3 Tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation

Bake pastry shell at 450\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Be sure to prick shell before baking.
Saute onion and green pepper.
Arrange a layer of 1/2 the cheese, 1/2 the tomatoes, 1/2 the onion and green pepper mixture and 1/2 the salami into the baked pie shell. Repeat layers.
Beat eggs; stir in milk and remaining ingredients. Pour over layers in pastry shell; bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0; bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until set.
