Ingredients

1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine butter and sugars; beat until fluffy.
Add eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir together.
Cover and chill 3 to 4 hours.
Roll out third of dough to 1/8-inch thickness on lightly floured cutting board. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes 7 dozen.
