Holiday Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 qt. half and half or 1 pt. half and half and 1 pt. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. golden rum
Preparation
    Beat eggs until foamy.
    Add sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Beat until frothy and add rum and half and half.
    Chill 3 or 4 hours.
