Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2/3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Combine egg, milk, sugar, baking powder, flour and salt in mixer bowl.
    Beat until smooth.
    Heat 1-inch of oil to 375\u00b0 in electric skillet.
    Spoon 1/2 cup batter at a time into funnel, closing spout with finger.
    Drizzle batter into spiral in hot oil. Fry until brown on both sides, turning once.
    Garnish with confectioners sugar or fruit.
    Makes 6 servings.
