Fresh Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large bunch broccoli, coarsely chopped (about 6 c.)
6 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. salt
dash of white pepper
1/3 c. saltine crumbs
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cook broccoli until just tender.
Drain and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and blend in flour. Add milk, cooking and stirring, until thickened.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Beat eggs lightly.
Add some cream sauce to the eggs; blend and add back to the sauce.
Add spices.
Fold in broccoli and pour into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
Top with saltines and bake 30 minutes.
