Mary Laybourne'S Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. diced celery
1 c. diced onions
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. white vinegar
1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 bottle water (rinse out chili sauce bottle)
Preparation

Parboil celery and onion for 15 minutes over low heat.
Drain off water, then rinse with cold water.
To celery and onions, add sugar, vinegar, chili sauce, water and spices.
Cook over low to medium heat for 30 minutes.
Stir several times.
