Jailhouse Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. cubed round steak
    1 1/2 lb. ground round steak
    1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
    1 Tbsp. cumin
    6 oz. tomato paste
    1 c. onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 jalapeno pepper, minced
    12 oz. water
    1 qt. or large can tomatoes
Preparation
    Brown cubed steak.
    Add ground steak.
    Saute onions and garlic.
    Add tomato paste and water.
    Add cayenne, cumin and jalapeno pepper, then simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hour.
    Add dark kidney beans, if preferred.
    Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes more.
