Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    3 ripe bananas
    4 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add bananas and buttermilk. Dissolve soda in butter; mix well.
    Beat in eggs.
    Stir in flour and salt.
    Mix well; fold in pecans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in 1 large or 2 small greased and floured pans, about 45 minutes.
    Bread is done when lightly browned or a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
    Remove from oven; let stand 5 minutes; run knife around loaf to loosen it from pan; lift out.
    Cool on wire rack.
