Old Fashioned Pie Pastry (Canada) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lard or Crisco
5 1/2 c. flour
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
cold water
Preparation

Blend flour and lard until mealy. In measuring cup, blend egg, salt, sugar and vinegar. Add enough water to make 1 cup. Combine with flour mixture. This will make dough for 6 to 9-inch pies. It freezes well in balls of dough.
