Skillet Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. quick cooking rolled oats
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    dash of bottled hot pepper sauce
    14 to 16 hamburger buns, split and toasted
Preparation
    In skillet, cook beef, onion and celery until beef is brown and onion is tender; drain off excess fat.
    Stir in tomato sauce, water, quick cooking rolled oats, salt, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, pepper and hot pepper sauce.
    Simmer uncovered until mixture is of desired consistency, about 30 minutes.
    Spoon about 1/4 cup meat mixture into each bun.
    Makes 14 to 16 sandwiches.
