Mincemeat Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. lard
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. mincemeat, cooked

Preparation

Beat sugar, egg, shortening and milk.
Sift flour, soda, salt and spices and add to sugar mixture; beat.
Add cooked mincemeat. Put in 2 loaf pans.
Cook at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
