Chow-Chow Pickle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. chopped cabbage
1 qt. chopped onions
2 qt. chopped tomatoes
1 doz. chopped sweet peppers
2 qt. vinegar
4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 c. flour
5 Tbsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. turmeric
3 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
-
Mix dry ingredients and wet with vinegar.
Put in all chopped vegetables and cook until done.
Add some hot green peppers or red shake pepper.
Keep stirred, it will stick.
