Bobbie'S Picnic Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick soft oleo
3/4 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
24 large marshmallows

Preparation

Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cream the oleo and sugar. Add beaten eggs and vanilla.
Mix bananas and buttermilk and add alternately with dry ingredients.
Add nuts.
Spread marshmallows evenly over greased pan.
Pour in batter and spread to edge.
Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
