Italian Creme Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 eggs, separated and whites beaten stiff
    2 c. sifted cake flour
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    grated lemon rind or orange rind
Preparation
    Mix egg yolks with sugar; add flour, baking powder and rind. Beat in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Grease pan; bake 35 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    After cool, slice cake in thirds to make 3 layers. (Use lasagna size pan.)
