Dr. Pepper Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    water
    2 large bottles Dr. Pepper
    1 (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. red jello
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Add water to Dr. Pepper to
    equal 4 cups liquid.
    Heat and stir in jello until dissolved.
    Chill until thick and syrupy.
    Add cream cheese and nuts; mix thoroughly.
    Chill until firm.
    Do not boil Dr. Pepper.
