Sausage Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. boxed biscuit mix
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 large onion, chopped
2 c. grated cheese
2 small cans chopped green chilies
1/3 c. milk
1 lb. hot sausage
1 egg, beaten with 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise

Preparation

Mix biscuit mix and milk.
Add mayonnaise.
Put in well-greased casserole and pat down.
Saute the sausage and onion. Drain real well.
Squeeze out.
Spread in layer on top of biscuit mixture.
Add egg and mayonnaise mixture with grated cheese and green chilies.
Pour over top and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 400\u00b0. Cut in squares at cocktail parties.
