Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut
3 c. milk
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 to 2 Tbsp. butter
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
sugar to taste
Preparation
-
Mix sugar, flour and salt together in top of double boiler. Add slowly to the mixture the coconut and milk.
Cook over boiling water 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
