Ingredients

2 sticks butter
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 to 3 tsp. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, slightly beaten
Preparation

Let butter soften.
Cream butter.
Add sugar, egg, baking powder and salt.
Add flour and sufficient milk to make a stiff dough.
Chill.
Roll and cut.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes or less. These burn easily.
