Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter or margarine (1 stick)
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. quick oats (oatmeal)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix in at least a 3-quart cooker.
Add sugar, cocoa, butter and milk.
Cook on stove at medium heat.
When it starts to boil, time for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
Take off of heat and add vanilla and peanut butter.
Stir thoroughly, then add oats.
Stir until oats are coated.
Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper or aluminum foil.
Cool before serving.
