Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Swiss and sharp processed American cheese
    12 eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (12 to 16 oz.) roll breakfast sausage, sliced into 15 pieces and fried
    4 oz. can drained mushroom stems and pieces
    2/3 c. half and half
    paprika or snipped parsley (if desired)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spread the butter in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Combine the cheeses and sprinkle half over the buttered pan. Break the eggs on top of the cheese.
    Poke yolks, but do not stir. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper to taste.
    Top with the sausage and mushrooms.
    Pour the half and half over.
    Top with remaining cheese. Sprinkle with paprika or parsley (if desired).
    Bake 30 minutes until golden brown.
    Makes 15 servings.
