Texas Hash (Diabetic) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
    1 small can mushrooms, sliced
    2 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown the beef.
    Add onions, celery, green pepper, mushrooms and seasonings; cook until vegetables are tender.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in tomatoes and rice; heat through.
    Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.
    Cover; bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
