German Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 level tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. soda
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
2 c. raw apples, diced
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped nuts or coconut
Preparation

Add the first 9 ingredients together and mix, then add apples last.
Sprinkle the remaining ingredients on top of batter before baking.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
